It is advantageous to use a plunge router for this application. Removing the counter balance springs is a real advantage for a router that is dedicated for use in a router table. This makes height adjustment a breeze. Make sure it will use both 1/4"n and 1/2" shank router bits. Find one that is very powerful and variable speed. It is a lot easier to use one that uses one wrench and a spindle lock rather than one that uses 2 wrenches to change bits.
Go and put them in your hands to look at them before putting down the money. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Huhn To: blind Sent: Sunday, January 07, 2007 11:08 AM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] router for router table BlankHi guys, what is a good router for a router tableup to 3hp thanks Tom [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
