The early generation third party scan tools are generally not accessible to either JFW or Window-eyes. Even with using either the mouse pointer or the Jaws cursor both miss a lot of data on the screen, however the newer units most notably OBD-4 work fairly well. I was able to read most of the codes, fault logs, data logs and system failures. in a 05 5.7 Hemi Durango. I created a couple of failure codes by unplugging the MAP sensor and the thermostat override controller and Jaws told me immediately the appropriate failure codes.
