Thanks TOm, someone actually mention getting a powder and glue to mix and fill the spots in. This would certainly keep the woods matching and he mentioned they have fret pullers. Have no clue what this stuff would cost, but will have to check it out. The good thing is this bass isn't some super expensive instrument, well ok, was $500 or so, but the point is I guess if I take my time, I shouldn't trash things to baddly. Guess I'll see what a new neck costs just incase. grin Thanks for the ideas, I am looking for all suggestions etc. and plan accordingly.
