wow, does the stop time differ between fine tooth, (which might zing a bit 
of aluminum, and course tooh which might deflect the block?
or, maybe the softness of the aluminum is that which is best for a certain 
tooth count?
Also, how does the momentum of the blade rotation, or reduced rotation 
make the mechanism retract the blade.
This is extremely facinating.

In a situation where they are cutting away casts, the blade is actually a 
vibrating toothed system. It doesn't move more than 1/8th inch, I think. 
So that is how that has been done, by the medical community.
I guess that wouldn't work, at all with wood as it does more rigid 
plasters.
