I live in Northern New York State. Saranac Lake, twenty miles to the East is often reported on the Today Show as the coldest spot in the United States. In Saranac Lake they pay twelve cents per Kilowatt Hour. We mostly heat with electric because our municipal owned power supply only costs two cents per Kilowatt Hour. It's suppose to be about the most inexpensive power in the United States.
