Aloha Claudia,
There are many products out there, but for many years I have been
using a product called Done Gon. Note that there is no e at the end of Gon.

It is manufactured by a company in Texas. I purchased a case of quart
bottles about five years ago, but assume that they are still in
business. I tried to find them on the internet, but no luck.

Their toll free number is 800-345-4071. The product is
environmentally friendly, has a very light clean scent, and you mix
it with water or you can use it straight. The people there are very
nice and I'm sure they would be willing to tell you the measurements
for different things. The ones I know are:

Use straight out of the bottle for pet mishaps. Work in with fingers
or brush, removing the foam with a damp towel. Vacuum when dry.

For cleaning your entire carpet or apolstery, a one quart bottle can
be mixed with six gallons of hot, warm or cold water. It works in any
cleaning machine that you can rent.

To get a nice clean floor, mix 1/2 cup of Done Gon with one gallon of
water. If you need to clean something that is really dirty or greasy,
mix 1 full cup with one gallon of water.

Good luck,
Betsy
