Victor, Interesting. Not sure there is an answer. The reason that adding salt helps is that it raises the boiling point of the water. If you use sugar in your tea, try adding the sugar before putting it in the wave, not sure it will do anything, but it will make a nice sticky mess if it doesn't help. *GRIN*
