Subject: [BlindHandyMan] time to receal the deck

I have a deck about 8 by 12 with stairs. When we first put it up, we used
some kind of oil based sealer for redwood. Here over the next week or so
depending on what preparations needed, I want to reseal it with Thomson's
wood sealer. Can I get away with a light sanding , then roll the sealer on
with a roller, and sponge the sealer on the rails and uprights? I'm open
for suggestions providing it's cost efficient. I only mention the Thomson's

wood sealer on count that I already have a full gallon in the garage. By
the way, I'll be using a portable belt sander
