I am interested on what information you get and add to this my 
question  canone cut and splice the  cord that runs to the sensor?  I 
did not realise   my family set my  machine up with the wire going   
between the door frame and a solid steel door. well  now the wire is 
near stripped.  I hate to just buy a new one if I can cut and splice 
the wires or wire. thanks.Lee
