Greetings,
We had a white metal roof put on our house back in October. It cost $3750, and it took the cats two days to put it on. They put one-by- six boards down on the old roof, and then screwed the tin sheets down over the boards. They did this, "so the roof could breathe." I have been told many times that white metal somehow reflected heat so that cooling the house during the hot Florida summer would be lest costly. I really don't know whether this is true or not, but we went ahead with the order, in the belief, or the hope at least that it was indeed the case.
