Thanks I had not thought of those things.  I may 
have to stick to 24 inches no wider since i need 
to go between a tree and the deck with not a wide 
space.  My house is up 6 or 9 stairs from ground 
level depending on which side of the property you 
enter.  I am on a corner with a hill on one 
side.  Wheel chair access to the property or 
house is challenging at best. I will look in to
