We have an upright Bissell carpet cleaner. It has an option for furniture and step cleaning with a hose and power head cleaner. The upholstery cleaner attachment has a brush that is vacuum powered. The brush no longer rotates. I ran a lot of hot water over it thinking that there is a build up of cleaning solution prohibiting it from rotating. This did not help. It feels like there a few screws along the one side. I am thinking about trying to disassemble the unit to see if I can clean and lubricate it. Has anyone done this? I do not want to have to purchase a new unit because of my attempt to fix it.
