I am curious, why does BX admserv use the system php, instead of it's own stable php version tucked away in a safe place so where people want to fiddle with the php version, it doesn't break the GUI?
That is an approach I once contemplated. But most people want and need the multi-PHP approach anyway. So they install the PHP packages from the shop and run each Vsite on whatever PHP it needs.
So what's the benefit of unlocking the OS's PHP and switching the GUI to something stand alone if people then still trow a whole bunch of Shop supplied PHPs at it?
