I'm clearly missing something really simple, right?

If I have type of different sizes next too each other, in two
different columns, they don't line-up vertically. One is always
floating way-up as if it has a bunch of padding on the bottom or
something. It's making it very difficult to make things look nice.

So, what am I missing? There's a simple trick that makes it all work,
right? Or is the simplicity and ease of the grid a trade-off for only
using one font size-per row?
