Just to make one thing clear: Everything i write back to you is just a suggestion. It's your plugin, so it's your decisions.
1.a) As you mentioned "granular". Maybe it's enough to think in half/ full/double? A Quarter of 10px (horizontal) would be 2.5px... Not really appreciated. 1.b) Be aware that for ex. <p> has a top, bottom & left margin of 1.5em; If you add the class of append-bottom or prepend-top you'd already have a margin of full on one side and double on the other side (top/bottom). Cases like this should be considered so they don't get doubled. 2) n/p. Happend even to gurus and gods :) Things need time, review and discussion to get perfect. It's still a draft. 3) I meant 30px/10px = 40px would be 3/4+1/4=full grid column. 4) Multiple files: This goes to filesize and adds up to 1). What is really necessary? half/full/double? quarter/half/full? 5.a) Meaningfull names: If they code is more readable i'd say 2kB more is ok. We can't change current class names, but there should imho be the feeling that the plugin adds to the core and doesn't stand on it's side. 5.b) We already got class names like append-top and prepend-bottom, so it would be ok, but i think you should just write a whole set down and then consider if it fits and makes sense. Hope i could help a little. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Blueprint CSS" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
