Hi Mike

It is not clear if a voter must cast all 7 votes or only as many as they want to cast. ie, can they just vote for 5 candidates?

Good job, Mike. It sounds a little formal in places, but then, it is a formal doc about election procedures, so I’m cool with it. It addresses every corner case I can think of.

Once the board has reviewed it I’d suggest we turn it into a web page or wiki page. I’m willing to do the latter if that’s the consensus (someone with web site access with have to do the former if it is preferred).

A draft documenting the procedures we agreed to and handling corner cases such as ties is enclosed. It also includes the language about a nominating committee that was previously circulated and generated no opposition (and which is inoperative in this election because we selected no nominating committee).

Timely feedback welcome.
