I think it is important to mention that Rom has implemented this only for MS 
Windows.  Because the code is very specific to the Windows OS, we don't know 
when it will be implemented for Macintosh or Linux, or even whether it is even 
practical to implement it for those platforms.

So, at least for the immediate future, this is not a cross-platform solution.
