I changed things around a little bit, 'window.external' is something that is Internet Explorer specific.
The latest changes made things cross-platform in that the design would work on Linux (with GTK and webkit) and Mac (with Cocoa and webkit). The window frame code for Linux/Mac has not been written yet. It seems that boinc_graphics.xml isn't read? To test this I just copied htmlgfx_26153_windows_x86_64.exe and boinc_graphics.xml into the slot directory of a yafu@home workunit and started the exe. yoyo Rom Walton schrieb: Cool. I ran into a bunch of cross-site scripting issues using XMLHTTPRequest, It took a little while to figure out a way around the problem. I've uploaded a new version which contains a few fixes in that regard. There is a new command line argument '--debug' which will put a port number in the window title bar you can connect too with Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome and use their dev console to debug the application. ----- Rom -----Original Message----- From: yoyo [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, December 29, 2014 5:30 PM To: Rom Walton; [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [boinc_dev] BOINC HTML-Based Graphics Applications Looks really good, I played a bit around with it. I'm now far enough along that I'm ready to solicit feedback from the community on the current design and any feature requests. I've created a wiki page and well as precompiled binaries and they are located here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/HTMLGfx If anybody wants to take a crack at replacing the embedded HTML page that is included in the executable, I would be happy to replace it. It started out as a proof of concept and I left it in to test various things. If you are interested, take it for a test drive and let me know what you think.
