I'm writing a customized version of BOLTFbreadcrumb, with some
additional features I need. I give it a start page to be used as the
first link. In my case it's the current default page (the defaultPage
variable in site.config). First I supposed I could recall it with
{defaultPage} but it didn't work. Then I realized those variables are
set with the same syntax than text variables, so I tried
{site.config::defaultPage} and it worked. I called my function this
way:
[(mybreadcrumb separator=" > " startpage="{site.config::defaultPage}"
startlabel="Inicio")]
It works fine (when the function will be finished, I'll post it
because the changes I did could be useful for others). Well, I just
realized that it doesn't work for guests... After some debugging I
found the cause: guests cann't read site.config... If I give read
permissions to guest it works, but it's not a good idea. I don't want
to hardcode the default page in the function, because there's a config
variable for it.
Is there any other way to read the site.config variables? I've found
nothing about this in the mail list or the docs.
Thanks,
Marcos
