Hello everyone!

I've got a question for you: why do you bother going through all the stuff for
Bookcrossing, instead of just setting your books out free alone?

I'm finding that the trouble to register the book meant that I'd only managed
to get one registered so far. Then, when today I actually released it, I can't
get the website to do anything but take 20 minutes to go anywhere. Meaning,
even though my book is "in the wild", no one but me knows about it.

Even more, by chance (because I had to go back through the area I left the
book -- and I happened to see a buzz of several people talking about it, and
one person picking it up to take it home. It did feel really FUN to know the
book is going to a "new home", but all the hassles with the website have
really dampened my spirits for the bookcrossing.com part.

So why do YOU bother dealing with bookcrossing? Why not just set your books
free and enjoy the free karma?

I'm going back to try the website once more, but if it doesn't work, I'm just
going to set my books free without using bookcrossing anymore.

Jent
