I read twelve books this month. Hard to pick a favorite... several were very good: 'Night Listener' was a pleasant surprise, 'At the Stroke of Midnight' is by one of my favorite authors, 'Thunderbolt Kid' was every bit as wonderful as I expected, 'Mayada' gave me new insight into the struggles of Iraqi citizens, and 'Songs in Ordinary Time' was a very enjoyable read that I had put off for some time because of the length (700+ pages).
