Hello, all,

This item has been returned and I am happy to say that it was not taken
by the persons suspected. Nevertheless there was a second book taken
that we did not mention because although not cheap I would be amazed
if anyone would have bought it let along stolen it.

During the run of the National Arts Festival here in Grahamstown we
need to keep our eyes very firmly fixed on anything not bolted down to
the table or locked away. Large numbers of professional thieves roam the
streets with the crowds - always on a lookout for a friendly pocket to
pick or bag to snatch.

Always something goes, last year it was a handbag left on the counter as
we were closing up, the year before a purse was snatched out of a bag
left open for a while. Not to mention the year they stole the hi-fi
from under our noses!

Thanks for all your messages of commiseration.

Ian
