Thats not the correct MAC address for a boom . check the sticker underneath .
Hold left arrow unitlll you get the setup menu . Scroll down to current settings (2 5) press the centre knob got to MAC address (9 15) I think you can change it here . All proper squeezeboxes has MAC addresses begining with 00:04:20: This is used by mysqueezebox.com to identify the player .
