I'm trying to say that you have two issues ,but there may be a common
factor .

Player not able to find the LMS server can be a firewall issues or a
subnet issue and probably other things to. This can happen even if the
DHCP handbutik works perfectly and the player has an valid IP .

Port 3483 udp and port 9000 tcp must be open the machine running LMS .
But you are saying you are using the Touch as a server ? Then this
should not happen ? It has no firewall .

i was just suggesting a way for you to get music . Static IP on server (
the Touch aparently ? ) and the Boom , you set everything statically
subnet and DNS in both places , you then makes your DHCP pool not
include these addresses . And entert the server address manually in boom
, this you have to do once if the server has a static IP . I don't mean
reserved IP in the DHCP server , just fixed settings on player and
server .
Then you have music while figuring this out .
