I've read about alternative or modded Touch firmwares yeah... I didn't know it was so hard or impossible to do it on a Boom.
So I guess the best bet to start out with would be to make something that talks to these devices like LMS does. Which would be a computer-only piece of software. Not a bad way to start out in any case if you need to learn about protocols and such. Anyway I have my boom connected through static IP as an external entry point, in other words: I am now connected through my public IP. Thankfully my router supports this loopback thing, which is why I bought it. This means my boom is now semi-mobile :p. All I need is a wifi network. So I am going to surprise the Chinese neighbour-lady with music in her snack joint :p. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Xenthar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57935 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105498 _______________________________________________ Boom mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/boom
