Hi all, I have the same issue, push button broken on my Boom but rotary encoding still working.
I purchased a few PEC12R-4225F-S0024 from DigiKey here in the states. The datasheet is identical to the PEC12R-*4217F*-S0024 which is a part number folks here have used. It's the 24 step/360° version with push button. The shaft was long and had to cut that down a few mm, no big deal. I soldered it into the daughter board (a couple of them actually!) and I get strange results: instead of causing of the display items up/down, any rotation of the knob causes the entries to scroll to the right. Should I have purchased the 12 step version? I went so far as to reinstall the old encoder with the broken push button and that works correctly for the display.
