That address is just across the channel (on the South Boston side),
right across the bridge from Three Cheers. It is indeed a difficult area
to drive to, and parking is mostly going to cost money, though not huge
amounts of it in the evening. (There are some metered spaces on Northern
Ave. that are free in the evening; sometimes they're actually available,
depending on what's going on in the city that evening.)

On the other hand, it would be really convenient for us T-bound people;
much more than Newton is, let alone whatever new site you might come up
with. So, once again, we have the perpetual city vs. country problem;
what works well for one works badly for the other. It can be a real
problem; it's one of the forces that destroyed the Boston Computer
Society. (When the BCS had to leave One Kendall Square [the developer
decided that they wanted to rent out the BCS space at market rate, which
the BCS couldn't pay], the process for finding a new space was long,
contentious, and expensive. The BCS finally chose a place on 128 in
Waltham, far away from any T service - and immediately lost many of its
most dedicated volunteers, since they could no longer reach the office.)

And any discussion of the fate of the BCS should stop here - I know
there were a lot of other issues as well, and we don't need to open that
can of worms. I'm just trying to point out the difficulty of pleasing
all the people all the time. Feel free to email me if you like, but keep
it off the list.
