I wasn't going to add fuel to the fire, but here goes...

Since UCITA exempts software from many consumer liability laws for products,
we could well see physical objects like automobiles licensed as software in
order to prevent lawsuits. Sounds crazy, but I heard it from a speaker about
UCITA at a CPSR event.

Oh, what a blow that phantom gave me!
