You find yourself in a large, hexagonal room. The floor, ceiling, and
walls are cold stone. In the flickering light of your torch, you see
arcane runes carved into the walls; you are unable to comprehend their
meaning. A grotesque bust with a twisted expression gazes at you from a
pedastal near one corner of the room.
Each wall is broken by a tall archway that opens to a long, dark
hallway. From one comes a chill draft of air, from another a faint,
eerie wail. Your only clue to where the halls lead is the odd phrase
carved above each opening.
