Before the summer is over, I like to invite everyone over for a
cookout. I was figuring on having everyone over on 9/9. Everyone on
the Boston.pm list is welcome along with their family and friends. The
address is 39 Duncan Rd, Stoughton, MA.

I'll try to pick up a fair amount of food for everyone, but I'm just
planning on picking up basic things hamburgers, hot dogs, chips,
etc. If we're really low on food, we can grab some pizzas. (Anyone
from any nearby towns will know of Town Spa Pizza. We're only about 2
mins away from there.) Contributions are encouraged though. Know of a
place that makes a wonderful chicken sausage? Pick up a few and bring
them. Work near the Entenmann's thrift shop? A box out of their day
old bin would be a big help. Heard of a Sangria recipe that uses Red
Bull instead of sparkling water and your not sure if you'd like it?
Whip up a batch and bring it. (If you don't like it, somebody else
just might) Too busy to bring anything? Don't worry about it. I'd
rather have you come empty handed than not at all.

I have a pool, so feel free to bring a swimsuit and towel. The house
is set up with a 802.11b wireless, for those of you who can't tear
themselves away from IRC for too long of a time. (You may even find a
few spare RJ-45 jacks around the house. Anyone who wants to bring a
laptop but doesn't have a wireless card, feel free to use those.)

Transportation is going to require a little co-ordination. Stoughton
is outside of MBTA subway and bus service. Commuter rail service
doesn't run here on Sundays. (It seems that the BAT line has stops in
Stoughton, but I know nothing about its weekend schedule, nor do I
know if there is any convenient way to get from MBTA to BAT.) Anyone
who has a car that is willing to shuttle the people who don't, I'd
greatly appreciate it. Maybe we could arrange for some car-less people
to head to the Quincy Adams stop and the car drivers could pick them
up and drop them off from there.
