Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2001 20:11:47 -0400 (EDT) From: Chris Devers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I'm told that [RedHat] 7.2 will install using ext3 journaling filesystem support by default. Would this be something worth waiting for? Call me a cynic, but I'd say it's something to avoid. RedHat has a tendency to release beta-quality code (including kernel modifications), then issue patches later. (I don't know about ext3 specifically, but I don't see it in the 2.4.3 sources. Or in a quick glance through the changelogs up to 2.4.9. Is it really ready for prime time?) --kag
