Ok, I work 1 block away from the CBC, so this is what I give for
directions:

>From the T, get out of the T and look for the Marriot Hotel, which
overshadows the outbound Kendall T stop.
Walk directly to the Marriot Hotel Entrance, and enter.
Walk straight through the lobby, do not turn, go through the BIG
revolving door.
You will now be at the back entrance of the Marriot, cross the street
keeping the Marriot behind you (go straight).
Take a left, you should be heading away from the charles river at this
point, if you see a large body of water you have gone right.
Walk toward the billboard (Quantum books will be on your left as you
walk, if you haven't been there note it and return later), take no
turns, once you pass the billboard the street splits. The left fork is
Broadway the right fork is Hampshire, you want Hampshire.
Walk underneath the walkway over the street between the two Draper
buildings, making sure that the street you have chosen is where the
walkway is entering the left side of the building relative to you.
On your right will be a cul-de-sac of buildings which has Coyote, Max's
Deli, the Blue Room, and the _Cambridge Brewing Company_, it is right
after Coyote.

If you are driving:

Go over the charles river bridge toward cambridge, take your first
right, take a left, take the right fork in the road, follow the signs
for parking for the kendall square theater, park in the kendall square
theater lot, take the elevator down, go out the street exit. Walk
across the street, go between the buildings and walk straight, go down
the stairs to your right and in front of you is the cbc.

or:

Go down mass avenue towards boston, heading into porter square, keep in
the left lane and take the left fork in the road where it splits in
front of the station. Take your first right, pass over the train tracks
and follow the road to the left, you are now on Hampshire street. Stay
on hampshire street for a few miles and once you see Variagenics on your
right, look for the Kendall square theater parking lot signs.
park in the kendall square theater lot, take the elevator down, go out
the street exit. Walk across the street, go between the buildings and
walk straight, go down the stairs to your right and in front of you is
the cbc.
