In my previous reply, I only pointed out the gzip misconfiguration as an
example. I should have at least mentioned that this applies to every other
"y" response you had typed, for instance:

> Going to read y/sources/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz

It's using "y" as the URL prefix for the site it fetches packages from.
