I know nothing about bioinfomatics but I'd be interested in
hearing about it. Because I know nothing about it,
I'd be more interested in getting a functional description
of the science, and subservient to that, I'd like to see how
perl ties into those functions.

There's a quote that goes something like:
"show me your code and I'm left in the dark,
show me your data and I don't need your code."

I'd be more interested in the "data" of DNA
rather than the perl code that manipulates it, etc.

I won't be going to YAPC, but if you present
this at a monger meeting, I'd be sure to attend.
