I know nothing about bioinfomatics but I'd be interested in hearing about it. Because I know nothing about it, I'd be more interested in getting a functional description of the science, and subservient to that, I'd like to see how perl ties into those functions. There's a quote that goes something like: "show me your code and I'm left in the dark, show me your data and I don't need your code." I'd be more interested in the "data" of DNA rather than the perl code that manipulates it, etc. I won't be going to YAPC, but if you present this at a monger meeting, I'd be sure to attend. Greg
