To report a botnet PRIVATELY please email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------- Just removed "Zango" from someone's XP Home machine that had not been updated since pre-SP2. It is spyware as far as I am concerned. The person had updates ready to install but was afraid to do anything. Even when the AV engine (which had not been updated also in 2.5+ years popped a virus alert up, she ignored it because she was scared. Needless to say after four hours of updating and trying to find all the hidden processes on her machine that were causing pop-ups to appear even when IE 7 was not running, I told her her best solution was to rebuild.
With folks like her in the world is it any wonder why botnets are so prevalent?
