Hi Jeff et al, Since we're on the subject of the BN and wireless networks, I'll re-post a question that I sent a while back.
Some time ago, I set up a wireless network at my girlfriend's place using a Linksys WRT54G router. Initially, I set up the network with WPA encryption not knowing that I wouldn't be able to connect to the network wirelessly using my Braille Note. After discovering this, I changed the network so that it used WEP, but I found that the connections just weren't stable for the two Dell PC's, even though I didn't seem to have problems staying connected using my Braille Note. I changed the network back to WPA and neither PC has trouble staying connected. That being the case, I now connect using a standard ethernet connection using my Socket CF card. My questions are these: 1. Is WPA not supported by Windows CE, and is this a hardware or software limitation? Is this likely to change in the foreseeable future? 2. Why would a wireless network using WEP be unstable when with WPA it's rock-solid? I'm a little puzzled by this.
