Hi kathy,
Unfortunately, I do not have a manual on CD. As it was used, I did not get
a CD manual. I will leave it plugged in over night and report back
tomorrow. Is it okay to pray for Voice Notes? LOL.

If you have your manual on a CD, read the part about the power draiing
while it is just sitting on the shelf. Mine did this when it was brand new
and I had to go through the whole powering up from dead as a doornail
process. When you're dead dead dead, there's not enough power stored up
for it to even say AC adaptor lugged in or On or OFF or anything else. It
won't take long, but when I first plugged in, it was disapointingly
uninformative and took some time to respond the way the manual said it
would. and I had a brand new battery.
Keep your AC power plugged in and give it awhile to come back alive while
you read the manual on your PC.
