Amazing, isn't it?!?

Again, I do also think the calculations for KeyBase would be a nice
addition as well, but if we are setting priorities, the file manager does
rank up there.

Take Care

And now, for the nightmare. I actually agree with Mr. Panarese!
This must be a day that shall live in infamy! (smile)

Hi
I find it hard to believe that I am agreeing with....him...*grin* but I
must add my own very firm and loud vote for this as well. No offense to HW,
but the current File Manager is an absolute pain in the you know what.

In addition to Rich's suggestion, I'd also like to see a cut and paste
kind of command one can use to copy files in a much easier manner as well as
a way to tag multiple files for copying them. The process of constantly
having to go back and typing out names can be very frustrating if you have
several files that the wild card string won't simplify.

Rich Ring wants an overhaul of the file manager.
I've asked him, and since we know one another reasonably well, he has
decided to share his inner desires with me.
I would like to see the file manager be a more integrated piece of software.
Let me give you an example.
Ok, so I'm at the main menu.
I press f for file manager, and d for directory.
I now should see the root directory of a given drive.
I should be able to arrow down to a folder, and when I come to the one I
want, I should be able to press enter to open it.
First letter navigation should also work.
When I come to a file I want, I should be able to press enter, and that file
should open. Whether that file is an audio file, or a Keysoft supported
file, that is how I would like it to work.
Forget this control-t or space with t.
This is my humble request, and I know that I am probably in the minority.
But, at one time, the majority thought the earth was flat! (smile) The Pac
Mate does it, the Braille Sense does it, so I hope some day the Braillenote
will do these things as well.
