I wouldn't use a cheque program either, but I think the
compound interest functionality in the calculator that was
mentioned some time ago would be useful.

I wouldn't use it either. Here's what I'd like to see: a
percentage read command, support for daisy files, and support for
ogg files. Recording in .wma or something like that would be
nice too.
