Darn. I thought I'd be able to enter text in grade 2. If I have to use
grade 1, then it won'/t be the timesaver I was hoping for.
The JFW drivers you said to get from the version 7 site. Ah, are you
talking BrailleNote 7 or Jaws 7? The FS site or Humanware?

It is the same connection but you also have to install the Jfw drivers
available from the v7 download. Once you have them installed you open
terminal and there is a command space I for BrailleNote users.
Once it is working you really can input text. It has to be grade 1
Braille there is no translation. Your display will show you what your
typing don't get confused even though your doing the brailing in grade 1
your display shows you grade 2. confused?

I haven't just tried it yet and maybe I should do that first. LOL. But
one of the new features in version 7 is to be able to enter text using
the BN directly into Word. How is that done? I'm thinking it is the
same serial connection for braille terminal. Then what?
