I posted that section on the manual to illustrate that you need never record on 
the flash disk at all. If you record to a thumb drive or other media in the 
first place, you don't have to worry nearly as much about space. Make sense?

Sarah I think I might have confused you.  I know how to record something
and how to move it to a thumb drive or flash drive off the bn.  When I was
recording class I ran out of memory because I was recording on the flash
srive from my bn.  I had a problem with memory then so moved all those
files and then had to do a reset to get my users guide back.  I do read
the users guide it is a great tool for this product.
