Vicky, thank you very much. I'm not understanding something,
though, for some reason. Will this work with dialup until I can
get high-speed? What do I do to get this to work with dialup,
unless you told me already grin.
I have a Bt 18 m-power transplant.

Hi Nancy,
Here is the link to the ACB Radio site. Then, several links down
on this
page, there will be
the four links to each of the pages for the ACB Radio's four
different
streams. Then, when you activate the link for one of these
pages, you would
want to choose the option to listen with Winamp. To find the
link for the
first page, you might search for connect to ACB Radio main
stream. And, oh,
now that I check a bit further, I can readily see that the second
and fourth
streams, meaning the cafe and interactive streams, do indeed have
modem
streams. Now,
here is the link:

Hello:
Yes, if the stream is too large, i.e. is designed for a
broadband
receiver (Cable or DSL), you will get intermittant reception
characterized by the stream starting and stopping or other weird
noises.
If memory serves, I think the ACB radio stream has a stream
suitable for dial-up listeners and if you make that choice,
you'll get a pretty good version of the stream if a bit less
high fedelity.

Hi. I forgotffmention that I have dial-up, not high-speed. Is
that causing the problem with a clear, continuous sound with
Interactive Radio using Winamp? Thanks.
