I see you're with Earthlink too. Maybe I'll see about a different phone
number to try. I think you're both right: streaming is meant for
broadband, but perhaps it's not impossible with dial-up.

The reason the stream was breaking up when you were using
dial-up, is because streaming is only meant to be used aon a
broadband connection, it is nearly impossible to stream anything
using dial-up--so you will have to live without your ACB radio,
if you are using dial-up.

Hi, all. The last time I was in Portland and only had access to
dial-up, I
tried streaming with the BrailleNote, and it kept breaking up. I

a phone number I'd gotten years ago from Earthlink for Portland.
I'm
wondering if it would be worthwhile to see if I could get a
different
dial-up number and see if streaming improves, or if I can only
stream with a
DSL connection, and just have to live without my ACB Radio and
Dr. Demento
fixes while I'm on vacation.
