The grade 2 sign for a star or an asterisk is two in signs (dots 3-5 3-5).
In computer braille, it is just dots 1-6 (according to US computer braille
code).

Mark

Grade 2 always used to be two "I N" (dots 3-5) signs before a word (but I
haven't looked to see if it has been changed very recently by BAUK).

The computer Braille appears to be dots 3-5, though I only know that from
looking at the tables produced by HW . The dots 3-5 combination is also
used as the wild card character.
