Hi,
I have a BN because I want something that is optimized for Braille
when I want to use it electronically. I have a laptop for full screen
reader use. I understand that the Pac-Mate, with its optional Braille
display, is almost as big as a laptop. Although I liked it well
enough when I saw it in detail even with some reservations, I wanted
an up to date Braille device which will let me use Braille
efficiently. The last thing I want is a screen readcer on it--a
screen reader which needs the world of graphics. Braille is not
graphics and graphics isn't Braille. Sure, I could give you a long
list of stuff that I'd like the BN to do, but then I may as well have
a laptop with a full version of Windows for best results with Windows.

In other words, turning the bn in to a packmate type of interface? Using
any screen reader or KeySoft. That reminds me of the laptop HW had out a
while back.

my suggestions would be:
1. support for msn messenger
2. for the voicenote to support portable or detachable braille displays
3. this is one I thought of last night. I know that you can run jaws
off a USB drive. What I was thinking was, couldn't we have the option
to use jaws with the windows portion of the bn, or use keysoft when we
wanted?
Thanks
Cheryl
