Hi,
Yes, the Linksys router is for DSL or Cable High Speed internet.  
I did once find a Bluetooth wireless modem that I tried with a PK, but I
couldn't get it to work.
It could be they make a wireless modem that would use the wireless CF card,
but I'm not sure.
The only advantage is that you could be anywhere in your house and do e-mail
or the internet without having to have the phone cable attached.

If anyone knows of such an arrangement, please let us all know.

The router is meant only for DSL services i guess.
For dial up connections you use the internal modems built in BN units.
