Bugs still in KeySoft 7.2 build 47 on the PK at least.

If the braille message display is set to zero, and you check the time with
enter plus t, you can not clear the time with backspace plus enter; you have
to hit a key that puts a character in your document or hit the joystick on a
PK. Prior to KeySoft 7.2 backspace plus enter cleared the time.

In keyboard learn mode when you press the advance key, (n 5) you have to hit
it twice before it speaks its function.

Also in keyboard learn mode, n 1 and n 4 just beep.

How about making the joystick scroll the display one width left or right?

You are also aware of the buggy behavior in the book reader with DAISY
books.
In particular, is there any way to fix it so one can read the Sunday New
York Times. Right now, it always locks up the PK. I just tried it with
Yesterday's New York Times from Bookshare.

Enter with i brings up the Insert Menu. What happened to the Indent
command?

Why, when in Keyword, with the pk set to grade 2 for reading and keyboard,
when I hit chord-s to save the file does it say, "computer braille is
required;" when I can use grade 2 if I create a file from the Keyword menu?

Also, why when I save a Word attachment from an e-mail, and I select Keyword
as the file type, does it save it as a text file and will not allow me to
edit the braille grade?

Subject: [Braillenote] KeySoft 7.2 Build 47 Maintenance Release

KeySoft 7.2 build 47 maintenance release is now available from the
following website:

http://www.humanware.com/Resources/downloads/KeySoft7_2_b47.asp

This software should only be installed if you are experiencing one of the
problems listed in the Fixed Issues section (see below), or you have
purchased the Concise Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus for KeySoft.

If you are upgrading from 7.2 build 43 to 7.2 build 47, you will not
require a new product key, as 7.2 build 47 will work with your existing 7.2
product key.

Fixed Issues:

In KeyBook, pressing SPACE to stop reading leaves you at your current
position rather than returning you to the position where you started
reading.

When a Daisy book is re-opened the cursor is returned to its previous
position.

Daisy speech rate is now remembered between opening books.

You can now open Bookshare .BKS files from the File Manager Directory
option.

In KeyPlan, printing now works.

Full backups now allow subsequent incremental backups to work correctly.

In the Media Player, BACKSPACE with ENTER now pauses playback.

On the BrailleNote PK the joystick now works correctly.

In UK math in the calculator, spaces are now displayed correctly.

The PREVIOUS and NEXT thumb keys no longer give an error beep when going to
links in KeyWeb.

In KeyList, pressing BACKSPACE and ENTER no longer clears the Braille
display.

On the BrailleNote QT, when FUNCTION with S is used to change task, GPS
only appears when installed.

On the BrailleNote QT, the calculator now operates correctly after directly
switching from a KeyWord Braille or BRF document.

On the BrailleNote QT, the battery level short cut READ with ESC now works
while reading .BRF files in KeyBook.

On the BrailleNote QT, you no longer need to press READ with G to start
reading a .BRF file in KeyBook. You can just press 'G'.

On the BrailleNote QT, PLUS on the numeric pad now works.

Copying a database using the File Manager will no longer write protect the
data file.

When exporting a document you can now create subdirectories at the
destination directory prompt.

When confirming the deletion of an email folder, literary Braille folder
names are now spoken correctly. The confirmation prompt now appears on the
correct sequence.

When writing an email, the exception that could occur when you delete "to",
"cc" or "bcc" entries has been fixed.

Known Issues:

In some cases, you may experience a long response time or apparent lock-up
of your system when reading Daisy books from Bookshare. This is more
prevalent in large books. We will continue to investigate and work to
resolve this issue. In the meantime, we wish to provide you with our latest
improvements.
