Michelle and list,
I'm sorry to correct someone: whoever said that converters should work, please be aware that IT WILL NOT WORK ON CLASSIC. This only applies to mPower units. The USB printer has Mini a (client) connector, which is completely different from the host port on the printer. The USB to parallel converter has a parallel port on one side and a USB host connector on the other side. Since the parallel port will work with the Classic, but the USB port on the printer is a client port, this arrangement will not work. The best option is to go with the printer that has InfraRed port on the front (HP DeskJet 895 or 990c should work). I hope it refreshes your memory.

A USB to Parallel converter should do the
trick.

Do you know where I can find one that goes
from the printer directly to the
serial port connection? All the converters I
have seen go from the USB
connection that fits a computer to a serial,
not from a printer connection
to a serial.

Thanks.

Michelle
