Hi Loren and list, The answer to your first question is no. On your second question, you can detach a file from an Email and put it where you can read it or save it to another format as you would any other file so long as the BN can work with it. This also depends on what upgrade you have presently. You can also paste the text from a file directly into the one you are working with by using the block commands menu. Select the insert file option and you should be good to go. You can put in the text for an entire file or select a block of text. On your third question, you can move, copy or delete all the files in a folder all at once. Go to file manager, type M for move, C for copy or E for erase. When the BN asks you for the file to act upon, type spacebar with dots 3 5 on a BT keyboard. You will hear so many files were selected. You will be asked for the drive where they should go if you want them moved or copied. Select this drive. You will be asked if you want to confirm each file? Type Y for yes or n for no and the files will be acted upon according to your instructions.

Q: Is there a way to password protect a file? Q: Is there a way to move an attachment from email directly to a keyword file whithout having to copy and paste it? Q: Is there a way to copy entire folder to say a flashcard without having to do each file individually? T: It would seem to me that if Humanware wants to stop offering upgrades to the BrailleNote classic, they would also offer a way to help those of us who might want to do the transplant, a way to finance the move. I do understand the reasoning for no longer doing upgrades, and someday the Empower will go the same way. However, the attitude that the rehab agencies and thus the government, thus you and I with our taxes will pay for it is rather cold. They admit that the price for assistive tech is high. My wife and I would consider seriously, the idea of financing this move. However, most banks do not offer such programs. They really do not like lending money on these types of items. And who can really blame them? T: It seems to me that a nice program for the Empower or PK, or Note Classic would be a barcode scanning program. Maybe this is technically above what I understand, but it seems to me, that if a gps program can be adapted to work on the Note platforms, then the scanning program for barcodes could be as well. The main rival for the Note has the capability to do this, and I must admit, it makes it tempting. And there was a recent offer to make this a very real possibility.
