Well, I have both a PK and mPower, so I'll give your questions a try. I'm actually thinking that either device, meaning the PK or mPower, could be knocked, should it get in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, since it is somewhat smaller, maybe the chances would be at least some less of that happening with the PK.
I myself, do take the PK with me to work most of the time. But, it's not really that I'm anymore afraid of bumping it than I am the mPower; but, rather, the PK is just much more portable. It fits in my purse, admittedly a pretty good sized purse, and it causes much less weight on my shoulder than the mPower. Oh, as far as the pants pocket thing goes, it sure wouldn't go in the pocket of the slacks I wear. I do have a raincoat, though, with really deep pockets, and I can get it in there. However, that is a real thin plastic jacket type thing, and I just wouldn't carry my PK in that pocket, even if it does fit. So, if one is trying to decide between a PK and an mPower, guess one needs to determine whether they want the portability of the PK, or the at least some larger mPower with its more features/connectivity.
